The phosphating film process provides some more difficult challenges for heating. Phosphate coatings are widely used on metal parts to provide lubricating thick, porous layers and granular structures for oil residence to improve gear lubrication and threading while preventing corrosion.

In the phosphoric acid process, surfaces such as coatings heat electric immersion heaters, limiting heat transfer, leading to corrosion and shortening the life of the heater. For this reason, the treatment technology developed a special heater phosphate chemistry: DAS-series Immersion heater. DAS-series heaters are designed to prolong the accumulation of heavy and corrosion of surfaces that normally occur in these baths. The thick-walled sheath and unique internal structure protect the heater core leading to long life and better performance in harsh phosphoric acid applications.
